A 5.0  fW/√Hz High Contrast Photon Detector.

This device is a recent addition providing the detection of a photon beam with very low noise levels. (High Sensitivity)
Using the same technology, the performance has been optimised for detecting
very low amplitude modulated optical signals.
The performance of the photon-detector of 5.0 fW/√Hz is given, assuming the optical carrier has zero shot noise.
The graph below shows the countries reading the research and publications* from May 2013 to date..

There are 85+ countries accessing the original research program, held in the British Library, uk.bl.ethos.436542, open access identifier: 99515074402346

To date, 1100+ copies of the original research have been downloaded by institutions, across the world,  directly from the British Library, and 1000+ copies of the academic paper from INSPEC and  through Researchgate .

The following of the bi-monthly updates has now reached 1.0-1.5 Million hits over the last few months, requiring a dedicated web site.
